Icon Collection
The ICON collection pulls inspiration from the ancient African Kingdoms of Kush, Kemet and Punt (modern day Sudan, Egypt and Eritrea) whose peoples collectively admired the mystical and life giving qualities of the sun. Because they believed gold to be material of the sun, their worship was reflected in decorative arts forms, notably in sacred jewelry. For the people of these great Kingdoms, one’s jewelry also reflected their health, fertility, politics, and predictions of the future.
