Asymmetrical Himbasha Ring
With a classically domed silhouette and 24 white sapphires, this ring takes inspiration from Himbasha (Tigrinya ሕምባሻ) or Ambasha (Amharic አምባሻ), an Eritrean and Ethiopian indigenous celebratory bread decorated with symmetrical ribbed lines. My grandmother Bisserat would freestyle it adding asymmetrical zigzags, dots and other motifs.
