The Aster Crescent Moon and Sun Pendant features our Eternal Coin paired with fiery vintage red bakelite and ornate engraved inlay. Pair it with our substantial Torque Necklace. This divine combination gives the wearer an electric, cosmic aura.
Depicted together in various ways, the crescent moon and solar star has been used in various historical contexts worldwide - Most notably today in Islam.
Along the east African coast Eritrea, Sudan, Egypt - The Crescent moon in the upward position doubles as cattle horn iconography, both iterations are signifiers of divine feminine energy and life giving sustenance. Through the Aster (ዐስተር) talisman I wanted to re-enforce these symbols as current sites of indigenous votive worship, not relics of the past, ones that are rooted in the African pantheon that live on a continuum. "

Each side reads Sewit Sium & Eternal in both English and Ge’ez, the ancient semitic mother language of the Tigre, Tigrinya, Tigrayan and Amharic languages.
