This heirloom ring is handcrafted and assembled in two parts; the scarab body traditionally sits snuggly in the ring bezel - The Scarab, a beetle indigenous to Egypt signifies life, rebirth and regeneration. The ancient god Khepri, Ra as the rising sun, was often portrayed as a scarab beetle or as a scarab beetle-headed man. Khepri renewed the sun every day before rolling it above the horizon, then carried it through the other world after sunset, only to renew it, again, the next day.

  • Ring face 7/8" (23mm) x 5/8" (1.5cm), scarab height 3/8" (10mm)
  • Tapering band: widest point 1/8"(3mm), thinnest point 1/16" (2mm)
